Rupali Behl
A university lecturer with 10+ years of teaching experience in teaching management and HR courses and 10+ years of industry experience including HR generalist and HR trainer. Her first full time job was IBM in Gurgoan now Gurugram (known as Indian corporate hub). She worked as a volunteer with NGO’s in Delhi, India including Haryana Cricket Association, Blind Cricket Association and others. She travelled in different Indian states to organize cricket matches and other sports events. Her work was appreciated and certified by state governments many times
She has mentored and guided various students’ teams in MENA region. She has received appreciations including Best Teacher Award from Australian University, Kuwait (2019), Certificate from UNIDO-Bahrain for mentoring Kuwait team in Arab Rally competition in Bahrain (2019), Award from WARBA Bank, Kuwait for supporting ROWAD entrepreneurship program (2022), received appreciation Awards from INJAZ, Kuwait for supporting their flagship program known as Company Program (2019, 2022,2024). Award from LOYAC for consultancy and trainings (2015), Appreciation certificates from CFA Society of Kuwait for supporting CFA research challenge by mentoring university teams (2020,2022), Special certificates from AU for academic advising and organizing events like entrepreneurship competition, graduation projects, academic conference (2022) and career fairs(2018,2019, 2020, 2022). She had the privilege to participate in strong educational platforms like WISE, Qatar foundation (2024) to create awareness about youth challenges and importance of education in this disruptive time of wars.
She mentioned about her teaching philosophy that “ As a teacher I feel that it is my responsibility to ensure that my class has a positive attitude and I also understand that every learner have certain expectations from each class and the teacher. As a teacher, I strongly believes that my job is not limited to teach and complete a fixed content however, it is important for me as an educator to bring consistency, transparency, diligences, and care to my job. That is the complete essence of being a teacher. As a teacher I aim to inspire, motivate, and encourage my learners so that they can extend their limits comfortably in this changing global environment. My goal is to help my pupils get desired results and exceed their own set expectations. This learning can happen inside and outside the class environment. Though, as teachers we control the classroom environment, but we also set foundation for lifelong learning’s which happens outside the class. A positive learning atmosphere created in the classroom will enable each learner to analyze, critically think and respond in situations outside the classroom. As real teaching starts in the classroom but continues outside the classroom
I consider myself a learner and I intend to be a better teacher, trainer and a better person every day. I strive to contribute to the society by contributing to the educational sector by teaching and research. I have worked on various projects with the purpose of youth empowerment as this can lead to a better society, a better economy and a better world. Education itself is a youth empowerment tool combined with other activities. According to data provided by world bank, the world has seen increase in youth unemployment and underemployment. This limits countries from innovating competitive advantage based on human capital investment, resulting in limiting prospects. So, education comes handy here for improving the present and future
