About Rupali
Rupali is a senior lecturer of Business & Human Resource and a former academic advisor. She has 15+ years of work experience in India, Kuwait and Australia. She worked in the industry for 8 -10 years before joining the higher education sector as a faculty member at Australian University, Kuwait in 2014. She holds a Bachelors in Business Administration (BBA), Masters in Arts (Economics), Post Graduate in Journalism and Mass communication from India and PGDBA – HR (MBA), Post Graduate in AI & Machine Learning from University of Texas. She holds teaching degrees and certificates including Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) from India and teaching certifications including Certificate IV in Teaching, Training and Assessment and Advanced Certificate in Language, Literacy and Numbers (LLN) from TAFE, Australia. As a lecturer she developed and delivered management, economics and HR courses. As a trainer she successfully delivered trainings in HR, leadership and sales & marketing in the MENA region and India in the past decade.

Rupali commenced her professional journey with IBM, India. Prior to joining IBM, she actively worked with NGO’s including Disable sports teams and Para-Olympics Association. She organized state level events, developed international exchange program for these NGO’s and was appreciated and acknowledged for her work at state level. She travelled across India in NCR, Haryana, Rajasthan, UP, Mumbai, Punjab and Delhi for these events. As she moved to State of Kuwait in 2008 where she worked for a regional NGO ‘LOYAC. She took care of the international office of the NGO including all international programs and international communications. She supported the grants and awards section of the NGO with other team members. Later, she joined the Australian University in 2014 as a faculty member where she held many positions including Academic Advisor, Internship in-charge, Head Industrial Committee, Member HR Council, Member Events committee, Member -ACBSP Committee, Member Curriculum Committee and left the university in 2024 to pursue her doctorate and enhance her research. While in Kuwait, she continued to work for NGO’s including LOYAC, AIESEC, INJAZ and collaborated with other private and public sector entities including banks, corporates to bring various opportunities for the youth. She worked on various projects in Kuwait during covid-19 pandemic, a history which no one intended to be part of. She continued her work and duties online and at this time, she was inclined to technology and enrolled herself in a Post graduate program in AI from Mccombs School of Business, The University of Texas at Austin, US.


Rupali has mentored and guide various students’ teams in MENA region. As an appreciation of her teaching contribution she received the Best Teacher Award from AU, Kuwait in 2019, Certificate from UNIDO




She believes in youth empowerment, and has actively worked with NGOs in MENA region including, INJAZ, JA Worldwide, LOYAC and AIESEC. As an academician she collaborated with these non for profits organizations to bring various opportunities including job shadows, business incubators, entrepreneurship competition, job fairs, CV workshops, trainings for the youth in Kuwait


In Australia, she is volunteering with local communities this includes spreading awareness about current govt. policies and benefits available to local communities. As part of her volunteering, she visits suburbs with her team members and talk to local communities and the daily challenges they face including cost of living, taxes and health related. In September, she created her own successful campaign called C4C under UNHCR – Australia for supporting refugee’s. Her campaign was supported from Kuwait for which she is grateful.


She has passionately worked on internships for nearly 2 decades now in India and Kuwait. She worked on international internships with LOYAC, Kuwait where she developed international internship programs and visited universities to select students to attend those fully funded internships. She coordinated internship collaborations with Oxfam-UK, HRW-UK, IFAD-Italy, FAO-Italy, DLA Piper-Dubai, ADC- USA and more in countries like Kenya, India, Jordon, Lebanon, UAE and Dubai. She headed the internships in College of Business (COB), Australian University in Kuwait. She was able to create internship opportunities for all business students at COB in collaboration with private and public sector in Kuwait.


As she has taken a short break to focus on her doctorate and academics, she actively continues to contribute to academic research. She is passionate about research and her current interests are Artificial intelligence in Higher education, AI Governance, Generative AI, Sustainable growth, Digitalization of Education, Innovation and Entrepreneurship, Adoption of AI and technology in Human resource management. She is willing to collaborate with new teams for research

- The council was headed by HOD and as a member I was responsible for all academic and non-academic issues like exam issues, textbooks, courses development, students’ complaint.
Audit Committee (college level)
- As a member, responsible for arranging department and college audit. The audit was done by visiting CQU (Central Queensland University from Queensland, Australia) every year between October to November.
ACBSP Committee
- Founder member of ACBSP team, our team submitted the school of Business application to be a ACBSP member. Attended online ACBSP conferences during Covid-19 (2020).

- Responsible for scheduling and arranging logistics (dealing with IT, H&S) for Mid-term and final exams. Developed college procedures for smooth running of the exam. Co-member of this team since 2017.
